Confidentiality

Confidentially is an essential part of any counselling relationships. No details of clients' problems will be revealed without consent unless it is felt that there is any risk of harm to the client or to any other person, or if legal requirements, such as court proceedings, come into force.

Any notes which are made by the counsellor will be kept in secure storage will not be available to any other person. All professional counsellors undergo regular confidential supervision when their work is reviewed. Names of clients are not revealed, therefore maintaining anonymity for the client.
